MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx has told Launch Radio Networks that the band will most likely embark on a reunion tour next year. Sixx said that the bandmembers — including frontman Vince Neil, guitarist Mick Mars, and drummer Tommy Lee — have had their personal issues in the past, but that they seem to be ready for a reunion tour: "I talked to Tommy a couple nights ago, and he's like, 'I've looked forward to going (and) making some new music,' and we talked about that," Nikki said. "Who knows what it'll sound like, what it'll be like, but it'll be us. We've been offered the Ozzfest twice, but it's been hard to get Vince and Tommy on the same page as far as wanting to play together. I think all that water's under the bridge now." As previously reported, MÖTLEY CRÜE are strongly rumored to be in talks with the organizers of Sweden Rock festival about making an appearance at next year's event, set to be held June 10-12, 2004 in Sölvesborg, Sweden.

Last week saw the release of the four-CD box set, "Music To Crash Your Car To, Vol. 1", which features expanded editions of the first four MÖTLEY CRÜE albums, and the DVD collection "Greatest Video Hits", which compiles 21 of the group's videos.

Go to the DVD’s Main Menu and highlight the menu entry 'Set Up.' Now, press the following key sequence using the directional keys on your remote control – up, up down, up, own, left and right. You will now have the change to watch a video to 'Take Me To the Top'

The second Easter Egg is found on the 'Choose a Damn Video' page. Go to the second page of the section and highlight the entry that says '1-7.' Now press the following key sequence – down, right, up, left, up, right and down. This will allow you to view the 'Public Enemy #1' video.

The third hidden video is located in the 'Extra Crap' section of the disc. From there go to the 'Discography' and select the Generation Swine' album. Once there, highlight the menu entry that reads 'Next' and the hit the 'Up' key on your remote control three times. A pentagram appears and if you press 'Enter' now you will have the chance to witness the video 'Shout ’97.'

Tommy Recruits Top Musicians For 'Drummers' Album 

SEVENDUST's Morgan Rose, FOO FIGHTERS mainman Dave Grohl, GODSMACK vocalist Sully Erna and JANE'S ADDICTION's Stephen Perkins have been approached by former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee about contributing to a drummers album that Lee is putting together. The disc, currently in the planning stages, will feature a variety of multi-talented stick-bashers on various instruments, according to MTV.com.

"We're gonna do something, but I don't know exactly when it's gonna be because Tommy is writing a lot of stuff and we [SEVENDUST] just finished our [new] record," Rose said. "His idea is to get a lot of drummers together and there's a pile of us that can sing and play guitar. He's the torch holder for drummers, so this will be something really cool. I'm flattered as hell to be a part of it."

TOMMY LEE To Guest On 'The Sharon Osbourne Show' 

Former MOTLEY CRUE drummer Tommy Lee will be a featured guest on "The Sharon Osbourne Show", which is set to premiere on Monday, September 15 on the WB network.

According to an official press release, "Sharon's male celebrity guests will get to go 'Under the Covers' ó she'll interview them while tucked into an on-stage bed. But aside from celebrities Sharon will take a look at real people and real issues offering updates on former guests.

"Sharon will keep her viewers tuned into music, fashion, gossip and pop culture trends as well as featuring top musical guests. She'll also pick an unknown artist to help navigate the tricky waters of the music industry, offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look."

In other Lee-related news, Tommy reports to have been "Punk'd" on Monday by Ashton and Nick Carter for the MTV series. The show is scheduled to air sometime in October. Tommy will also appear on a Fox show called "The Ortegas" in November. "The Ortegas", a British import modeled on "The Kumars at No. 42", will air Sunday nights. No further information is available at this time.

Tommy To Play Drums On BACKSTREET BOYS Singer's CD 

BACKSTREET BOYS singer Nick Carter spoke to andPOP.com about his collaboration with former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee on Carter's sophomore solo album, tentatively due in early 2004. "I've got a lot of respect from people like Tommy," Nick said. "Tommy is probably going to be playing some drums on the record with me."

Nick is hoping to begin recording the forthcoming CD within the next two weeks, and Lee is expected to co-produce several cuts on the effort, for which he is also said to have co-written material.

As previously reported, Nick's first solo record, 2002's "Now or Never", debuted at No. 17 on The Billboard 200 chart with over 67,000 copies sold during its first week of release

I TRUELLY WANT TO SAY HOW SAD I AM OVER THE CLUB THAT BURNT DOWN .A LOT OF INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO WERE KILLED AND THE FAMILIES OF THOSE INVOLVED HAVE BEEN IMPACTED FOREVER.THIS IS REALLY A CASE OF HUMANS TRYING TO >>WILL<< SOMETHING TO GO THERE WAY AND PEOPLES LIVES HAVE BEEN FOREVER CHANGED BECAUSE OF THIS STUPIDITY.I KNOW NOT WHOS TO BLAME, BUT I HOPE THEY ARE HELD RESPONSIBLE AND PUNISHED TO THE UTMOST DEGREE…AGAIN.MY HEART GOES OUT TO ALL THE FAMILIES. Me and Donna are off to Vegas for the magic show Monday evening. Were unveiling the NSIXX line at the Dragonfly booth all week. Were showing both the men’s and woman’s line.Im really excited about the quality of the clothes.I’ll be there, so stop by and ill sign something for you.It will be the usual magic shenanigans and business dinners every night and ill be doing TV and radio everyday to promote the line.Somewhere in the middle me and Donna will hopefully get away to play (with each other).

The brides are doing a photo shoot for the website Monday at around noon and ill be on KTLA Monday AM…. busy day…. Mondays always seem insane.why is that??

ALITTLE UPDATE TO SOME OF YOU. WE JUST FINISHED THE LAST SET OF SONGS...WE WENT IN WITH 6 CAME OUT WITH 5 DONE, PLUS THE 4 FROM BEFORE. WE HAVE 3 THAT JUST NEED ALITTLE WORK TO FINISH AS WELL. SCOT PLAYED DRUMS TO THE OLDER SONGS REPLACING KRIS KOHL'S DRUMS SO IT ALL SOUNDS LIKE ITS FROM THE SAME BAND/SESSIONS.
TRACII AND I ARE WORKING WITH SHAUN TO GET THE BRIDES SITE UP SOON....PROBABLY JUST HAVE A FEW PAGES TO GET STARTED, BUT AT LEAST WE CAN PUT SOME OF THE NEW TUNES UP FOR YOU TO PREVIEW. WERE IN THE FINAL STAGE OF DECIDING ON WHICH PRODUCER WILL HANDLE THE ALBUM DUTIES..MORE ON THAT WHEN WE DECIDE.

Well we are in the middle of recording 6 new songs( of the very metal variety) . We took a break today so Scot could redo the drum Tracks on the original demo... The guy really nailed them. We are having fun working our asses off. We will start recording vocals on monday. The holidays really came to a hault for our deal making. now the holidays are over and things are steadily picking up. All things are looking great. we will be doing about 10 shows at the end of feb on the west coast. we will come home and finish writing and doing prproduction for the record. we are probably gonna start recording the album mid-late april so, the record definitley will not be out til after summer.

Sad news from Nikki, about his step-son Rhyan's father:

LAST TUESDAY DONNA AND I RECEIVED A VERY SAD PHONE CALL.RHYAN’S (DONNA’S SON) FATHER WAS FOUND DEAD FROM A HEART ATTACK.HOW DOES ONE GO ABOUT TELLING YOUR CHILD YOUR DAD IS DEAD.IVE BEEN RAISING RHY AS MY SON ((AND HE IS TO ME) FOR 7 YEARS, BUT THERE IS NO BOND STRONGER THAN THAT OF YOUR DAD.I ALWAYS RESPECTED THAT AND TO SEE THAT SHATTERED IS HEARTBREAKING FOR DONNA AND MYSELF.WE JUST RETURNED FROM THE VIEWING.TO SEE A 9 YEAR OLD BOY STANDING THERE BY THE CASKET IN HIS TENNIS SHOES CRYING IS AN IMAGE THAT WILL BE HARD TO SHAKE.I THOUGHT IF ANY OF YOU WANTED TO POST ANYTHING NICE WE WOULD LET HIM READ IT.HE NEEDS TO HEAR NICE THINGS RIGHT NOW.
