Below you will find the stories of the times I've been LUCKY enough to meet the members of my all-time favorite band, Motley Crue. This is for all the fans who wanted to hear the stories, enjoy!
As most of you know, I have been a die-hard Cruehead since the early days. I started listening and following Crue since the "Shout" album. After almost 15 years of waiting, I was finally blessed to meet them. Here's how it all started. Chapter One - Oct. 30 to Nov. 2, 1997 "In the beginning......" I started a Crue website shortly after I got on-line back in 1996 I beleive it was. I was so excited that Vince was back in the band! After he was out of the band, I thought all hopes of me every meeting them together were lost. Then Vince came back, and I though, "Now's my chance, I have to meet these guys!" Around this time, my favorite Crue member, Nikki Sixx, was opening chatting and replying to e-mails on-line. I wasted no time e-mailing him, and chatting with him in the chatrooms. After I started developing my Crue site into more then just a picture page, I sent a link to Nikki and Tommy.....they LOVED it! I also started chatting with Vince's then fiance Heidi Mark, and we struck up an on-line friendship. Crue was about to release their album "Generation Swine" and about to go on tour. But when I checked the tour dates for when they were gonna be in my area, I was scheduled for surgery, damn! I was living in Washington state at this time, but was born and raised in Central Florida. The Crue were planning on playing in Florida in October of 1997, a few months before my surgery. So I thought I'd fly down, visit my family, and see the Crue's concert. I had contacted Nikki and Heidi and told them I'd be there for both Central Florida shows. They both said they'd like to meet me! The next day, me and
my brother drove from Titusville back to Tampa for the show, on
Halloween night.
Crue was
playing another Central Florida date on Nov. 2, 1997, this time near
Orlando. I decided to see the show again, this time with a few old
friends who were major Crue fans, Randy and Tim. I had seats down
on the floor, about 5 rows back. My friends had crappy seats in
the back, cuase they bought tickets the day of the show. I sat
with them during Cheap Trick, and then headed down to the front just
before Crue's set started. On the way to the front, I noticed
Heidi Mark sitting on the sound board. I walke over to say hi, and
she invited

So,
as soon as I got off the plane, I drove 2 hours from Orlando to Tampa to
meet Heidi and Vince (both for the first time face to face) at a
Hooter's restaurant were Heidi use to work. Heidi was so sweet and
funny. We chatted for a few minutes, and then she said she wanted
to introduce me to "her man". Vince was eating a burger,
and sitting with some friends of his. I told Heidi I didn't want to
disturb him, truth was I was nervous as hell! She said,
"Don't be silly , c'mon". So she walked me over and said
"Vince, this is Lisa". He turned around and said
"Hi, nice to meet you." I then told him I was the one
who made the Skylar webpage that he had send picture in to be displayed
on. OMG, he jumped up from the table and said "Lisa, thank you so
much, I really appreciate that page for Skylar" and gave me a huge
hug! I about melted. While he was hugging me, I said
"I've waited 15 years to meet you!" He looked at me like
he 
was
amazed! "Wow, 15 years just to meet me, I'm flattered!"
He and Heidi both sat with me and my brother for about an hour,
just talking about all kinds of stuff. Then we went to a night
club just down the street, I think it was called something like "RG
McDougall's" or something like that. Me, my brother, Vince
and Heidi, and all their friends sat at a long table, while Vince
ordered everyone a round of drinks. I was sitting right next to
him, and I was still shaking! Vince was telling jokes and stories,
it was hillarious. After the night club, they were all gonna head
over the the Doll House Strip Club, right down the road. But I had
a long flight, and a long drive home ahead of me that night, and had to
get enough sleep to enjoy the Crue show the next day. So I bid
Vince and Heidi a good night, thanked them for their hospitality, and
drove to Titusville with my brother.
Wouldn't
ya know it, it was raining like a mofo! The weather was freaking
aweful! But we weathered the storm, and got to the venue safe and
sound. I went to the Will Call window, to see if I had passes.
Yes, 2 VIP passes were there for me and my brother! Since it
was Halloween, I dressed up, as a pirate, hahahahahaha. Heidi had
promises to dress up too that night, but she didn't, darn it. So
now I feel like a dork, but oh well. My brother and I got
backstage before the show started for a little while. We bumped
into Vince in the hallway, and he remembered us. I brought a
Barbie doll for Heidi, and asked him to give it to her, and he said he
would. I noticed Vince was talking to a very pretty pre-teen girl,
who I later found out was his daughter, Beth, from his first marriage.
Beth's mother was there too, both of them were very pretty. So
then me and my brother get to our awesome seats and enjoyed the show.
After the show, we went backstage again. One of the on-site
security guards was trying to kick us out! But then Crue's tour
manager, Machine Graham, came out and said "No, these two can
stay!" Hahahahaha, right on! Then, coming down
the hallway, was Mick Mars. I politely asked him for a quick picture,
and he said yes. Then he disappeared down the hall. He was
very polite and soft spoken. So then we waited backstage for about
30 minutes, when I saw a large group of people coming up the hallway
towards us. I recognized Nikki right away, how could you miss
him?! I walked up to him and said "Mr. Sixx, could I please
get a picture with you? He said sure! As we were taking the
picture, someone got in the way, so we had to take it again. Machine
stood by to make sure no one got in the way again, hahahahaha. While
my brother was taking the picture, I leaned towards Nikki and said
"I'm Lisa Crueton". He was like " Oh my God,
T-Bone, look it's Lisa Crueton!" Tommy had walked right past
me, 
and
I didn't notice, because he was wearing a funky bucket hat. Tommy
came running up and jumped in the picture too! Then they both
thanked me for my Crue webpage, and said they thought it was awesome.
Then Nikki asked "how do we get out of this place"? I
said "I don't know, I was hoping you'd know". So we all
started walking down to the end of the hallway. We got to a door,
and walked through, to where there was another door leading outside.
But the first door wasn't closed yet, so the second door wouldn't
open ( I guess it was some sort of saftey lock or something). Then
Nikki looked at me and said "uh oh, we're locked in!" I
just looked up at him and smiled, teehee. When the door behind us
finaly closed, we were able to get outside, right in front of the tour
busses. Me and my brother said our good byes to the boys and
headed home. In the parking lot we ran into Vince's daughter and
ex-wife, said hello to them, and got in our car and went back home to
Titusville.

to sit there with her and one of her friends. That was very kewl
of her, so I got to watch the show from the sound board. About
half way through Crue's set, Heidi said she wasn't feeling well, because
she hadn't had much sleep the past few days, and said she was gonna go
wait on the bus for Vince. Heidi told the soundman that I could
stay sitting there. So, I watched the rest of the show from the
sound board. After the show was over, I politely asked the
soundman to take me backstage, and he did. About a minute after I
got backstage, and boys came walking by. Vince smiled at me, and
Nikki walked by and pointed at me and said "Hey, I remember
you!" Hahahahahahaha. They then went to their dressing
room to change and get something to eat. I waited backstage for
about an hour. Machine Graham, their tour manager, saw and
recognized me, and came over and chatting with me. After a while,
I saw Mick sneaking down the hallway, and towards the bus. A few
minutes later, Vince came out. He asked me "Where is
Heidi", so I told him she wasn't feeling good and was waiting for
him on the bus. He jetted outside to get to Heidi. Then out
came Nikki. He was like "Hey, thanks for coming again
tonight!" I asked him for another quick pic. He was
sooooo tired, but took the time to take the pic with me. Machine
was kind enough to play the cameraman. After that, Nikki said
good-bye to me, and headed to the bus to crash. I never did see
Tommy that night, so I headed out to the parking lot to find my friends
and head home.
